My name is Ellicia Elliott, and I go by Eli with two L's for short (Elli). I grew up in a large church in Oregon until 6th grade when my parents decided to help start a church in a new town. As I finished high school, they wanted to begin their own church in Texas right outside of Austin. As a young adult in a new state, I struggled to find my place and grew distant from my family. I had begun studying for my bachelor's degree in psychology but felt lost and worn out after two years. I began making poor choices, hoping the consequences would help me feel something different. Things quickly spiraled, and I struggled with eating disorders, self-harm, isolation, addiction, homelessness, and complicating health issues. God's unrelenting love and powerful faithfulness has allowed me to once again pursue the passion I began so many years ago: helping others. I have my certification in Mental Health Coaching and am currently working towards my Certification in Youth Mental Health Coaching. I hope to provide the same love and grace so many have shown me along my journey. There truly is hope for the future and a God that sees you, knows you, and understands you.
